COVID 19 READINESS

What we are doing for your safety

Before your Appointment:

  • Digital screening forms will be required prior to every visit. They are located online on our website.  Please click on the link and follow the prompts.  If you have any questions, please call our office and we can walk you through them
  • Please ensure you bring either a mask or face covering
  • Returning patients will notice our office has been renovated to help us maintain a high level of cleanliness (new vinyl flooring to replace carpet, non porous countertops that are easier to disinfect)
  • When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in your car and call our office to see if we are ready for you. Our office is small so in order to accommodate social distancing we ask that you wait outside
  • We perform a thorough disinfection of all operatory surfaces between patients and wait an appropriate settle time
  • New commercial grade air purifiers with HEPA filters run 24/7
  • When we are ready we will call you to come inside, a second COVID-19 screening will be required prior to entry at this time
  • All staff, patients and visitors are required to wear masks and eye protection at all times while inside the clinic
  • Please put on your face mask and leave on except for when dental treatment is being completed
  • Please use the alcohol based hand rub as you enter the office; multiple stations available throughout the office
  • At the reception desk, your forehead or wrist temperature will be taken by a team member
  • We cannot have additional family members coming with the patient unless the patient requires a translator or is a child
  • Please go directly to your treatment room
  • All team members are screened daily for symptoms of COVID-19
  • Full PPE is donned by all clinical staff during dental procedures; these include head cover, N95 or equivalent mask, face shield, eye protection, isolation gowns
  • All team members adhere to strict hand washing / sanitizing policy
  • Social distancing between team members maintained whenever possible; flooring marked in reception area to ensure proper separation
  • All patients required to do a hydrogen peroxide rinse prior to dental treatment to minimize potential virus spread
  • Aerosol generating procedures performed only when absolutely necessary

After your Appointment:

  • Following the treatment you will be asked to replace your face covering or mask
  • At the front desk please stand in front of plexiglass; your paperwork will be completed and next appointment scheduled
  • As you exit our office, you will be asked to once again use the alcohol based hand rub

We thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times and please don’t hesitate to ask any questions.  We look forward to seeing you soon for your dental visit!
